Some facts about Antioxidants

Free radicals - These are molecules or atoms with unpaired electrons that are highly likely to take part in a chemical reaction. Free radicals have been associated with damage to human cells.
Studies into oxidative stress caused by free radicals in the human body are at an early stage, but it is known that antioxidants play a key role in the body’s natural defence mechanisms. Antioxidants, including the phytochemicals and Vitamin C in TAHITIAN NONI® Juice, help the body by improving energy/exercise endurance, helping to maintain healthy cholesterol levels, supporting healthy/ proper immune system function and cardiovascular wellbeing.
Unprocessed Noni fruit is quite high in vitamin C. Food safety laws require Noni fruit juice to be pasteurized. As with orange juice, pasteurization will reduce the vitamin C content, due to this vitamin being heat sensitive.
Commercial orange juice producers will often add ascorbic acid into the juice in order to maintain vitamin C levels. Addition of ascorbic acid is not a part of the processing of TAHITIAN NONI® Juice. Vitamin C is not the only significant antioxidant in Noni fruit/Noni juice. Other antioxidant phytochemicals are of course present in the juice, which are classified as flavonoids, lignans, and iridoids. These are called novel compounds, meaning that they are newly discovered.
It may be surmised in lay terms that Noni juice has powerful antioxidant properties, improves energy/exercise endurance, helps to maintain healthy cholesterol levels, and supports healthy/proper immune system function.
TAHITIAN NONI® Juice has in the last 15 years become the standard by which super juices are measured. There are of course other Noni juice products available, but none can claim the same and manufacturing systems as TAHITIAN NONI® Juice. The manufacturing systems Tahitian Noni International uses and the choice to include puree , not just the liquid that can be squeezed from the raw fruit is not duplicatable.
