It’s Possible To Go See Some Of The Most Popular TV Cartoon Characters At SoCal Theme Parks

Recently I’ve had the chance to visit some of the great theme parks in Southern California. One thing I found is that you can enter into the world of many favorite animated cartoon characters if you enjoy that sort of thing.

The first place we think of is Disneyland, the hangout for Mickey, Donald and all their buddies. There are a few really good websites with helpful information about planning a Disneyland vacation. Nobody has done a better job of breathing life into  fictional characters than the Disney folks.

Nearby Knott’s  Berry Farm has its own crew of lovable characters with Lucy, Snoopy and the Peanuts team at Camp Snoopy. The Peanuts guys have been at Knott’s Berry Farm for quite awhile now and seem to feel at home there.

Hit Universal Studios Hollywood and you can find Spiderman, Betty Boop, the Flintstones, Woody Woodpecker and a squadron of other beloved Universal characters that have been at the heart of many television shows and famous movies. The SoCal Vacation Guru has a lot of information to help you visit your favorite Universal Studios characters.

The final stop in the character caravan would be up I-5 an hour or so, to Six Flags Magic Mountain. It’s pretty common knowledge that Six Flags is particularly well known for its roller coasters. But skulking around the place are the nutty characters of Warner Brothers cartoons, notably the Looney Tunes guys.

Keep your eyes peeled for Daffy Duck, Bugs Bunny, Sylvester, Yosemite Sam and the rest, as they sign autographs at certain designated spots. There’s a nice area just for small children; the park management has figured out that not everyone is a teen-age or twenty- something thrill ride fanatic. It is fun for kids and adults alike to meet these well-behaved celebrities, and you can find them at various spots on the Mountain.
